Tassilo is a Managing Director focusing on M&A in the Private Equity team. Prior to joining AnaCap, Tassilo worked in the Financial Institutions M&A Group at Barclays Capital focusing on financial institutions in Europe as well as the Principal Investments Group of Willis Capital Markets & Advisory.

He holds a Master in Economics and Management from University of Cologne and a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University in Chicago.

Andreas Bösenberg has been active in the private equity industry for more than 20 years. Since 2000 he was responsible in leading and setting up private equity investment teams in the small-mid market segment and was jointly responsible for over Euro 2bn of invested capital. Also, he successfully assisted many portfolio companies during their transformation and growth phase and exited several of them in international IPOs and trade sales. In May 2018 Andreas was appointed managing director of NORD Holding an asset manager with over 2bn Euro of AUM, focusing on transformational investments in the German speaking region with a sector specific sourcing approach.

Marcus Brans is head of communications and member of the Digitalization Group of Triton Partners. He joined Triton in 2014 from Schaeffler where he was the Senior Vice President of Communications, Strategy and Marketing. He has also had similar roles at Allen&Overy, Shearman&Sterling and Linklaters&Alliance. Marcus holds a Political and Social Science Diploma from University of the Federal Armed Forces, Munich and an MBA from the University of Vienna and University of Minnesota, USA. Marcus advised 40+ portfolio companies on digital transformation and communication projects. He speaks frequently about his experiences on conferences re. digitalization, marketing, transformation, leadership and communication.

Roland is Managing Partner at Cipio Partners (www.cipiopartners.com), a leading investment management and advisory firm for European Growth Capital & Minority Buyouts for Technology Companies. Roland leads Cipio’s origination activities while serving on several company boards in Europe and Israel. He started his private equity career at 3i Group doing technology and mid-market buyout deals. Before 3i, Roland was a strategy consultant with Roland Berger and the Boston Consulting Group, as well as a robotics researcher with Hitachi Ltd. in Japan. He holds degrees from EPFL in Lausanne and the MIT Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, USA.

Dominic has a passion for people.

For over a decade, Dominic helped companies and their people to become better or resolve crises. He acted as board member, investor or executive/interim manager. He is also a serial entrepreneur, building successful investment teams. Dominic began his career at Blackstone and McKinsey & Co. and holds master’s degrees in economics, finance and business and is a CFA Charterholder.

His private passion revolves around his family, seasonal sports and offering tutorials and teach-ins to the team and others.

Matthias Fink joined Riverside in 2013 and is based in Munich. He currently is an advisory board member at GEV Group, GermanPersonnel, Toolport and Bike24. Prior to joining Riverside, Matthias was a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group, advising companies across sectors on corporate finance and strategy. He studied International Business at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and New York University’s Stern School of Business and also holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge.

Georg Ganghofer leads the investment team of BCM AG and is responsible for the development of investment opportunities, the management of M&A processes as well as the strategic and operative support of the investments. He has been part of the Brockhaus Private Equity GmbH team since 2013.

Georg Ganghofer graduated from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology with a Master’s degree in Business Engineering.

Inna Gehrt is a partner/head of DACH at Mandarin Capital Partners, European Private equity investor that was founded in 2007 and focuses on niche leading, export-oriented European small and mid-cap companies, that can benefit from expansion to China.

Inna has been active in the Private Equity and Corporate Finance environment for about 15 years. She has a successful track record of deal-making, value creation, and experience in mid-market deals. Inna has a CFO/corporate finance background holding an MBA in Economics from the University of Mannheim.

Andreas joined 3i in 2007 and is a Director in the Frankfurt office.

Some of the transaction he was involved in include (a) NORMA Group - forming a leader in engineered joining technology via a buy & build strategy as well as its IPO on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, (b) Christ & Amor – acquisition of two leading German retailers for jewellery and watches, and (c) Scandlines – transformation of one of Europe’s largest ferry operators.

Andreas holds an MSc in Banking and International Finance from Cass Business School in London.

Manuel Hertweck is Managing Partner of capiton, which he joined in 2006 from a publicly listed merchant-banking group. Prior to this, he gained significant operational experience as a Board Member of Strato Medien AG. He started his career with Mars & Co, the international strategy firm, in London and Paris.

Mr. Hertweck holds a B.A. cum laude from Hamilton College, where he graduated in 1990. He held the position of Chairman of the Board for two capiton portfolio companies, nora systems GmbH and Schur Flexibles GmbH and Vice Chairman of Prefere Resins. From 2015 until 2018 he was a member of Invest Europe’s Mid-Market Council.

Olly joined Real Deals in March 2019, following a period at the International Financial Law Review, owned by Euromoney. Olly was previously a reporter at private equity publication AltAssets. He graduated in Law from the University of York in 2016.

Joined PARAGON PARTNERS in 2018 as Director of Portfolio Support.

Previously, he spent 7 years with the PE firm Aurelius in the investments as managing director, COO and project manager and 3 years as a consultant with Struktur Management Partner.

He was responsible for numerous transformation, operational improvement and growth projects and supported companies in a variety of sectors with the focus on value creation.

In addition to his apprenticeship as a banker & stockbroker for Ellwanger & Geiger, he studied at the Cath. Univ. of Ingolstadt-Eichstädt and the Brisbane Univ. of Tech. and earned his degree in business administration.

Dr. Ingo Krocke is the Founder and Managing Partner of AUCTUS and Chairman of the Investment Committee. He has been working in the private equity space since the mid-nineties. In 1999, Ingo co-founded Wellington Partners, a pan-European venture capital fund focusing on early and late stage technology investments. As a Managing Partner he invested in software, services and internet businesses. Ingo holds a Master of Science and a Ph.D. in Medicine from Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and Université Descartes Paris.

Joakim joined Nordic Capital in 2012 and has almost 15 years of private equity experience. He started his career with McKinsey in 1994, subsequently founded and was operational CEO of B2B industrial equipment portal Abtrax, was CEO of Essve and then joined EQT Partners.

Joakim holds an MSc in Finance and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics and the Wharton Business School.

He has been engaged in eight platform investments and is currently the responsible advisor for the GHD, Greenfood and OSG investments. Joakim has led the Frankfurt office since 2012 and currently attends the Nordic Capital Investment Committee.

Giovanna Maag is a Partner at Altor Equity Partners in Zurich. She focuses on mid-market investments in the DACH region. Prior to joining Altor in 2018, she spent nearly 10 years at 3i in Germany, where she was active in the investment and portfolio management of companies in the industrial and business services industry. Giovanna started her career in M&A at Morgan Stanley and strategy consulting at McKinsey & Company in Frankfurt and London.

Staffan is a partner at Verdane, one of the leading Nordic growth equity funds with six offices across Scandinavia, the UK and the DACH region.

Verdane provides flexible growth capital to fast-growing, tech-enabled businesses. It has a uniquely flexible investment approach, providing liquidity to owners of unlisted companies either on single companies or on portfolios.

Prior to joining Verdane, Staffan was co-founder and CEO of Enkatsu Solutions where he acquired venture capital in three rounds and set up a sales organisation with exports to 15 countries.

At Verdane, Staffan focuses on the software and e-commerce sectors.

André joined Capvis in 2019 and has more than 13 years of private equity experience. Previously, André worked at 3i Group and Accenture.

André holds a MBA from the University of California and has a degree in mathematics from the University of Oldenburg.

Dr Michael Petersen is co-founder and managing partner of Cross Equity Partners AG, a Swiss private equity firm with the mission to support the sustainable development of mid-sized companies in Switzerland, Germany and Austria through equity capital, industrial expertise and an extensive relationship network. Before that, he was co-founder and managing partner of 3i Switzerland AG. Prior to his activities in these two Private Equity companies, Michael Petersen was working in the corporate finance/investment banking arena for several years. He has degrees in business administration from the Universities of Hamburg and St. Gallen. He is married and has three children.

Before joining Waterland, Dr. Rahlfs has been Managing Director of the French consumer goods manufacturer Staub Group, being responsible for Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain Management. As Head of Corporate Development at Zwilling J.A. Henckels AG he was responsible for the acquisitions of Staub Group and Demeyere N.V. (Belgium). Before he worked for Tchibo GmbH in Hamburg. Dr. Rahlfs started his career as Top-Management-Consultant with McKinsey & Company where he worked mainly in the consumer goods sector.

He obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and received a Ph.D. (Dr. rer. pol.) in Finance Theory and Strategic Management, both at the University of Lüneburg, Germany.

Dr. Andreas Spiegel (born 1974), founder and managing partner of specialized software Investor DRS Investment, has in-depth operational experience as an entrepreneur and Manager. In addition, he has a Broad experience in finance and the investment industry. He is actively involved in all DRS Portfolio companies as chairman, member of the advisory board or managing director. Prior to founding DRS in 2017, he was an operations director and co-investor of a special situations private equity fund for five years. Prior to that, Dr. Spiegel worked for eight years as a strategy consultant and founded three companies.

Matthias Tabbert is Partner at HQ Equita, Bad Homburg. For more than 25 years, HQ Equita invests in small to mid-sized companies in the DACH region on behalf of family offices and institutions. Matthias has been engaged in several transactions and supports mainly founder- and family-owned companies across all sectors on transformation and growth.

Prior to joining HQ Equita in 2011, he worked at Granville Baird and in the leveraged finance team at Barclays Capital.

Matthias holds degrees in International Management from ESB Reutlingen and in European business from Dublin City University.

Born in 1966, Jürgen von Wendorff has been with the HANNOVER Finanz Group since 1998 and has been a member of the executive board since 2006. From 2015 to 2019 he was a member of the board of the German Private Equity and Venture Capital Association BVK. As director of GBK Beteiligungen AG he managed the Group’s listed investment fund (GBQ) from 2003 to 2006. From 1993 to 1998 he worked for Preussag AG in Hanover, Würzburg and Sheffield (GB). He holds a degree in engineering (Dipl. Wirtsch.-Ing.) from the Technical University of Berlin.
